New Homeowners

So Matt and I just bought our townhouse in June. We are still used to the apartment living where if you have a problem you just call the maintenance people and they will come and fix whatever for you. Well we cannot do that any more and have to take care of it ourselves. We also have to shovel our own snow and so forth. Well the snow fell this weekend with the hose, inflatable pool, grill, and a bucket still outside. They are now covered in snow. We also have been having problems with our furnace and don't know what to do. This are all things we did not think about when we wanted to buy a place. I guess it is a learning process that we have to go through. Hopefully next winter when that first storm comes we will be better prepared.

Oh, you are not alone! How sometimes I wish I had married a handyman, but it didn't work out that way. We've got all kinds of problems that we don't know how to fix. A bathroom sink that has been leaking for a while now that has a towel wrapped around it! It all sucks, yep, and you don't know if you want to call a repair man who will rip you off, or if you could just find someone to help you. ???? AAAAAAAAHHHHH I feel for you!
